Code of Ethics

• As a member of the Rhodesian Ridgeback Club of the United States and the Bay Area Rhodesian Ridgeback Club, we pledge to uphold the highest possible standards, specifically:
  • All breeding will be done selectively and planned for the purpose of improving the breed.
  • Stud service will be offered only to registered bitches that conform to the approved American Kennel Club Standard and are free of known disqualifying genetic defects.
  • We will furnish a health certificate with all puppies sold, showing proof of inoculations and worming, and an accurate pedigree.
  • We will provide a comprehensive booklet for new puppy owners covering diet, inoculations, training, and other important details necessary to care for a puppy.
  • In the event of death or incapacitation, and the new owner is unable to keep the dog, we will assist in placing the dog in a new home.
  • We will make ourselves available to puppy buyers for information on any problems or questions.
